These charming and very comfortable cottages are located in an area of outstanding beauty on the edge of the Trossachs and Loch Lomond National Park and are within easy reach of the beautiful scenery and beaches of the west coast. The cottages are a few miles along a single track road and the sound of the tumbling burn and birdsong are what will greet you. Red squirrels are frequently seen along with a wealth of bird and wildlife.
The cottages are set on 150 acres of farmland and there are numerous walks in the immediate area along with 6 miles of fishing on the River Ruel where you have a chance of catching salmon, sea trout and brown trout. There are numerous activities in the area from sailing in nearby Tighnabruaich, pony trekking, golf and hillwalking. Local attractions such as the magnificent Inverary Castle, Stuart House on Bute and Oban with day trips to the Isles are within easy reach.
The cottages are all very well equipped and comfortable and all have been awarded a 4* rating by Visit Scotland. The courtyard setting has been cleverly designed to ensure each cottage has a degree of privacy as well as all the comforts you will need. All the cottages benefit from a garden clothes dryer. The cottages are rented separately but would make an ideal base for extended family gatherings.
