This house is a gem! Its location is high up above Loch Ness with truly outstanding views across the famous loch to the Mondhliath Mountains and it would be hard to find a more captivating view. The house is accessed along an unsurfaced road which is perfectly easy to access in a family car though needs care in sports type vehicles. The house has been built to make the most of the landscapes and the patio at the front is a perfect spot to indulge in a little monster watching or just to enjoy the spectacle and the seclusion.
The cottage is relatively newly built and designed to look like a traditional Scottish croft. Inside, this resemblance ends, as the interior is a series of clean, bright and modern interiors of an extremely high quality. The cottage provides an ideal family venue with pine floors throughout and plenty of garden space. There are three bedrooms on the ground floor and on the first floor 2 further bedrooms – a double room (with a cot) and a large twin with two further pull out singles making it a perfect children’s room..
You will find it difficult to leave the views but if you can then area abounds with outdoor activities with numerous hill walking opportunities and a great position for exploring Ben Wyvis, Glen Affric and Strathglass. The ever popular Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle are on the doorstep. Nearby Inverness provides an excellent assortment of retail, restaurants, theatre, Multi Screen Cinema and a Leisure complex.
