Balmackiver Cottage was converted in 2003 and is furnished to an exceptionally high standard. The modern kitchen has a sociable dining area with wood-burning stove and a large conservatory with patio doors and views. Shared drive with owner. Fishing is available on the River Findhorn (1 mile), sport may be arranged separately on Cawdor Estate. The all-year round holiday destinations of Nairn (10 miles), Carrbridge (17 miles) and Aviemore (25 miles) offer the Landmark forest adventureland, off-road mountain biking, hiking and skiing. The whisky trail and excellent golf courses are close by.
