This
traditional, stone farmhouse has been recently updated to provide a
high standard of comfort and contemporary living. A former factor’s house on the Duke of Gordon’s estate,
Easter Kintrae has period features and sociable drawing and dining rooms.
The bedrooms are tastefully decorated and some have lovely views to the
historic ruin of Duffus Castle. Located just outside Elgin, Easter Kintrae
is in an area that benefits from a mild climate. It is a marvellous base
for enjoying the beaches of the Moray Firth such as the glorious sands
at Findhorn (see the dolphins!), fishing on the Spey, exploring the Speyside
whisky trail and discovering Scotland’s bloody history at castles,
battlefields and other historic sites. Just 1 hour from Inverness Airport!
