The house itself dates back to the 14th century and was originally attached to the monastery at Coupar Angus, however, in more recent times as part of a significant Scottish estate, it has been added to and modernised.

The accommodation with its superb furnishings and décor combined with family portraits has great character and charm. The magnificent dining room leads through to a comfortable sitting room with French doors out to the gardens.
