If you enjoy the remote and rugged landscapes of Scotland, then Dalnessie Estate fits the bill. This modern Sporting Lodge, sits 4 miles up a track (unsurfaced but readily accessible by cars) where you will see deer and birds and can walk for miles. For fishing enthusiasts, the house sits at the top end the River Brora where you can fish, as well as many hill lochs, one stocked with brown trout. Shooting can be made available by separate arrangement with the estate.

The house itself is fresh, modern and comfortably furnished with large windows to enjoy the glorious views and cosy open fires in the public rooms. .Heating is provided by electric wall heating in every room. The bedrooms are spacious and one of the twin rooms can be converted to 2 singles if required with a pull out bed option in one of the ‘single’ rooms.

There is a mechanical, metal weir near the house and visible from the house, which is off limits and needs care if children are in the party. The gamekeeper, and his wife, live in a cottage nearby and can provide assistance with sport by arrangement. Evenings meals may also be provided by the gamekeeper's wife, on request, and at extra cost to be arranged with her, if required.
