‘I’m in heaven’ will come to mind when you visit Badachro, the loch side village featured on ITV ‘Visit Scotland’ programme. The house with the views is the best way to describe ‘Mingulay’. From the many windows enjoy views of the bay with its jetty, bobbing boats, the islands of Eilean Horrisdale and Dry Island and beyond to Loch Gairloch.
If relaxation is high on your list of holiday requirements you need look no further. This modern, bright and comfortable house has been designed just for that. The lounge is bright and spacious; the dining room has the most glorious picture window, the perfect place to linger over a long leisurely meal with a glass of wine, enjoying the panoramic views. The sunroom has loungers. Weather permitting the patio is there to enjoy.
For those of us who like to venture out this area has miles of beautiful coast line just waiting to be explored. Enjoy a picnic on one of the many tranquil and unspoilt sandy beaches. Locally you can enjoy boats trips to catch a glimpse of whales and dolphins, fishing, golfing and pony trekking. Day trips would include places like Loch Maree, the famous Inverewe Gardens, Torridon, Sheildaig and south to Applecross.
