Deep in the heart of Glen Achall, 8 miles up a track and reached by pedestrian only swing bridge, this simple cottage adjacent to Rhidorroch Lodge, is not for the faint hearted but is a rare find for the true outdoor enthusiast.
Accommodation:
Sittingrooom, kitchen, sun porch/dining area, double bedroom, twin bedroom, bathroom with bath, whb, wc, separate laundry/drying area and use of freezer. Outside there is an unfenced garden area.
Activities:
Unspoilt by the modern convenience
of tv, this is a haven for fishermen, bird watchers and hill walkers,
with several Munros in the area and one of the most remote, Seana
Bhraigh being accessible from the cottage. There are many attractions
in the Ullapool area, golf, museums, boat trips, gardens, swimming
pool, but once you reach the heart of this Glen it is likely you
will want to stay put and relish the tranquillity and freedom to
roam, appreciating the wildlife and the native Caledonian Pines -
so come prepared with provisions!

Linen is not provided (beds have duvets). Linen and
towels can be hired (£8
per person) if arrangements are made well in advance. Wood burning
stove. Gas, electricity and logs included in rent. Trout fishing
also included at no extra charge. Gas
cooker, fridge, freezer, garden furniture.
