Situated on the western edge of Skye, this small crofting hamlet is accessed by a single track road which winds through majestic mountainous scenery opening onto enchanting panoramic views towards Dunvegan Head and the Outer Hebrides. Particularly noted for its considerable variety of flora and fauna including dolphins, whales, basking sharks, seals and sea otters, this tranquil location provides an elevated position from which to enjoy the sounds of silence and to admire the glorious sunsets over the bay.
Due to the influence of the Gulf Stream,
Skye can enjoy relatively mild winters and, with the benefit of open
fires and storage heating, the cottages are available to let all
year. There is a choice of two cottages, situated within securely
fenced shared grounds, each with parking and an outside seating area
overlooking the sea.

with shower over bath
Activities:
There are many places of interest to
visit locally including Dunvegan Castle, Flora MacDonald’s
Cottage and Neist Point Lighthouse where scenes from the film ‘Breaking
the Waves’ were taken. Further afield sites of geological interest
include the Quiraing, Kilt Rock and the Old Man of Storr, and a selection
of small, exclusive craft and pottery shops are dotted about the
island.

Electric heating is included in the rent, domestic
electricity is by £1 coin meter. Beds
have duvets and linen and towels are provided. Two TV, washing
machine, tumble dryer, electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer,
dishwasher, payphone. Garden furniture.
