Situated in the lovely, unspoilt area of Scotland featured in the popular BBC television drama "Monarch of the Glen", Strathmashie is set in 5 acres of beautiful grounds surrounded on all sides by magnificent mountains, including several "Munros". Guests are free to enjoy the gardens and beyond, where leisurely walks through woodland lead to spectacular views and an old Pictish Fort.

Ground Floor: sitting room with open fire, dining kitchen with gas fired Aga, large utility/cloakroom with separate toilet.
First Floor: Double bedroom,
twin bedroom, spacious bathroom with bath an shower, wc and wash
basin.
Activities:
Centrally situated, with Fort
William and Ben Nevis to the west and Aviemore and the Cairngorms
to the east, Strathmashie has ready access to many countryside pursuits
including fishing, golf, pony trekking, mountain biking, ski-ing
and bird watching. There are whisky trails to follow, with museums,
castles and nature reserves to visit and the pleasure of returning
to a traditional, stone built cottage with a farm house style kitchen
and Aga set in a cobbled courtyard adjacent to Strathmashie House.
