A traditional gate lodge, in a roadside position, overlooking the Kyle of Sutherland, at the entrance to Balblair Estate where the guests are welcome to enjoy the gardens and grounds. This charming cottage has very recently been extensively refurbished and the rooms are deceptively spacious, light and freshly decorated. It can also now be let during the winter as a new heating system has been installed. It is an ideal place from which to tour the highlands, with the magnificent Falls of Shin 3 miles away, Dornoch sands 14 miles, and the west coast within easy reach. There is also a 9 hole golf course in nearby Bonar Bridge and also an equestrian centre in the area.
