The
Old Manse is a listed property built around 1820 to a design by engineer
Thomas Telford. It has been completely renovated to provide very comfortable
and stylish accommodation for up to 8 people. There are three twin
bedrooms (one en-suite) and a single with an additional pull-out bed
to provide twin beds or a zip link double bed. The well equipped kitchen
has a large range style cooker. A spacious entrance porch, plus laundry
and drying room, provide all the space you will need for boots, wet
clothes, fishing and sporting equipment. The living area is open plan
with a wood burning stove and doors opening on to a pretty enclosed
garden with the river, waterfall and the hills beyond. Fishing is available
by contacting CKD Galbraith Sporting Department on 01738 451600.
